8/18/2018 Zack Martin, Dal, G
Martin left Saturday's game against Cincinnati in the second quarter with a knee injury. Owner Jerry Jones said an MRI was planned Sunday and he was optimistic about the outcome. Martin was injured when he bent down to block cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick in the open field on a run by Rod Smith. Martin was on the sideline in street clothes late in the game.

Analysis: Martin has not missed a game in his first four seasons. He has been named to the Pro Bowl each season and twice has been named a first-team All Pro.
8/17/2018 AJ McCarron, Buf, QB
McCarron sustained a potentially serious right shoulder injury Friday against Cleveland. McCarron, who signed with Buffalo as a free agent for a chance to start after four years as a backup in Cincinnati, completed 3 of 6 for 12 yards during four series.

Analysis: He didn't show any obvious signs of being hurt - he was hit hard from behind by Myles Garrett and sacked by Larry Ogunjobi - and the Bills didn't disclose his injury until the fourth quarter.
8/14/2018 DeVante Parker, Mia, WR
Parker has a hand injury that as kept him out of training camp practice for two days in a row.

Analysis: Parker suffered the injury Monday during 11-on-11 drills going against cornerback Xavien Howard. "Right now we're going to be going week to week," head coach Adam Gase said of Parker's status Tuesday. "I mean right now he wouldn't be able to catch the ball. So we'll just keep evaluating that and we just need to make sure that we're keeping him in great shape and when they tell us that he's good to go we'll have him ready to go."
8/14/2018 Saquon Barkley, NYG, RB
Barkley is being held out of practice after straining his left leg a day earlier. The star rookie was in uniform and watching as teammates went through drills Tuesday at the Detroit Lions' training facility.

Analysis: On Monday, the No. 2 overall draft pick caught a swing pass out of the backfield and was injured either stretching to make the catch or running down the sideline after the catch. Barkley seemed to be favoring his left leg as he walked back up the field. He put his hands on his knees and then went to the turf and lay on his back while the head trainer examined him. An ice pack was put on his leg.
8/12/2018 Deon Cain, Ind, WR
The Colts have placed Cain on injured reserve after he tore his ACL in Thursday's preseason opener.

Analysis: Cain, a sixth-round pick out of Clemson, had been pushing for an offensive role with a strong camp. The news likely solidifies Ryan Grant's chances of starting opposite T.Y. Hilton in a very thin Indianapolis wide receiver corps.
8/9/2018 Derrius Guice, Was, RB
Guice suffered a knee injury late in the first quarter of Thursday's loss to the Patriots and will have an MRI.

Analysis: Guice, the No. 59 overall pick from LSU, was slow getting up after a 34-yard run that was negated by a penalty.
8/6/2018 Ezekiel Ansah, Det, DE
The Lions removed Ansah from the active/physically unable to perform list. They have not said what injury caused Ansah to go on the PUP list.

Analysis: Ansah hasn't played a full 16 games since the 2015 season. He is back with the Lions for this season on the franchise tag. Ansah played in 14 games last season and finished with 12 sacks, including three each against the Giants, Bengals and Packers. Detroit drafted him in the first round in 2013.
8/5/2018 Corey Coleman, Buf, WR
The Browns have traded Coleman to the Bills in exchange for an undisclosed late-round draft pick.

Analysis: The 15th overall pick of the 2016 draft, Coleman has missed 13 games over his first two seasons with injuries and has done little when healthy, recording 56 catches for 718 yards and five touchdowns in 19 games. He should get a chance to restore his stock on a Buffalo team that lacks a proven No. 2 receiver. The move could lock rookie Antonio Callaway into a significant role in Cleveland, though the Browns are rumored to have interest in the still-available Dez Bryant
